API tokens

Use a personal API token when a tool or integration needs to authenticate to Distro.

Open the Distro app's header search, find API tokens, and open the page. You can also go directly to API tokens in Distro.

Create a token

  1. Click Create token.

  2. Give it a name that identifies the tool or integration using it.

  3. Create the token, then choose Copy token in the result.

  4. Store it securely before closing the dialog.

The token is shown only once. You cannot reveal it again from the list. If you lose it, create a replacement, update the integration, and revoke the old token.

Tokens belong to your user. The creation form asks for a name; it does not offer a workspace, permission, or expiry selector. Access also depends on the endpoint and your current permissions.

Review or revoke a token

The list shows Created, Last used, and Status. Search by name to find the token for a particular integration.

Use the token's revoke action when it is no longer needed. Revoking it stops integrations that use it immediately. Replace the credential in any integration you want to keep running before revoking its old token.

Keep tokens out of public booking URLs, website snippets, and shared screenshots. Use the integration's instructions for how to supply its credential.
